The Secret Weapon of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon

What are you waiting for? Learn the Secret to Cultivating Your Life Force

The Taoists have been using Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Meditation for thousands of years to create the perfect marriage between the body and the Spirit, and have proven this to be a direct pathway to perfect health, supreme joy, and ultimate Enlightenment or Immortality. This is not fantasy or hope, this is a reality. These are simple techniques that you can learn and practice to transform your existence from ordinary to extraordinary.

Qi Gong, pronounced "chee-gung", can be translated as vital energy exercise. Qi Gong practice utilizes the breath, mind and body movement to move the Qi, or vital energy, through our bodies. With this smooth flow of energy we can regain well-being, health, vitality and peace of mind and with further cultivation reach high planes of consciousness.

Karen Atkins teaches hour-long classes, 2-3 hour workshops, and private sessions with the following course subjects:

Primordial Qi Gong

Primordial Qi Gong is a simple 12 minute practice that rejuvenates the kidneys and adrenals (fight/flight response) and rebuilds Qi energy, (life force) in the body. Those who have added this mystical practice to their daily routines have experienced all kinds of healthy benefits such as:

  • Increased energy
  • More youthful appearance
  • Increased libido
  • Better sleep patterns
  • Improved coping mechanisms
  • Better flexibility and strength
  • And overall just feeling and looking good

Passed down to us by Master Chen, A Taoist Priest from Wudang Mountain, China this is a rare opportunity to experience health and healing that you can do yourself at home.

Tai Chi Qi Gong 18 Movements 1 & 2

Wudang Mountain Tai Chi Qi Gong ‘Eighteen Movements’ uses Tai Chi’s soft and graceful movements in combination with exercises for mental strength and clarity.

Part I is a beginner sequence that is suitable for students of any level. The set of exercises is easy to learn and integrate into your daily routine.

Part II builds on the beginner sequence taking you deeper into yourself and into the practice of qi gong. It is recommended for students with at least 3-6 months experience with Tai Chi Qi Gong 18 Movements Part I.Wudang Shen Dian Qi Gong

Wudang Shen Dian

Shen Dian is the basic beginner form of Qi Gong. Based on the principles of yin & yang, the five elements and the meridian system, this gentle daily practice works efficiently to improve mental and physical health. It particularly works on digestive and organ health and essential energy cultivation.

Wudang Yang Sheng Qi Gong

Qi Gong for better health and a peaceful mind. Through a thousand years of practice, Taoist masters from the Wu Dang tradition have developed the Yang Sheng (life nourishing) Qi Gong method. Because it teaches students to build their most fundamental internal strength, it is practiced by all teachers of the martial arts. These are the building blocks for all the other forms. Yang Sheng focuses on the most fundamental “pre-heaven Qi” and replenishes it. This is the energy you were born with that is depleted by life stress and illness. In China they say, “living without ‘pre-heaven Qi’ is like cooking without rice.” These exercises are directed toward building up your fund of energy. It is like making an “elixir of life.” In China this is called Immortality Training.

Hard Qi Gong

Hard Qi Gong, or Chi Kung is a type of external elixir training. The distinction between hard and soft qi gong is in many ways similar to the distinction between hard and soft martial arts; in both cases the so called hard style is more external, focusing on external strength and power, whereas the soft style focuses more on the flow of energy within the body. Hard qi gong focusses on the strengthening of the muscles and tendons, leading 'guardian chi', or wei chi, to the skin to protect the body and other external manifestations of chi. Although many forms of hard qi gong have beneficial effects for the health, this style is used predominately in martial arts applications, whereas soft chi kung is often used exclusively for health purposes.
